Well you seem to be somewhat of a trouble maker for the right, and that is OK, but then again I don't really know you. Nope don't know it all, matter of fact, I have to look things up to understand most of it. Not old either. Not grumpy unless someone make me that way. But don't go whining and complaining about the name calling, the vulgar language etc, then turn around and do the same thing you are doing. (just for info, even things dealing with the military, I have to look alot of things up or refer to some folks still serving that I am friends with.) I also usually respect everyone opinions and posts, but yep I have a problem with this one.

Are you being deliberately obtuse? I made a statement not a complaint. Then I asked you a question, which you are ignoring, unless you are taking the position that the incidents contained it that opinion piece are fabricated. Is that your position?

no neptune, not obtuse, nor am I saying that the incidents never happened, or did happen......only that it is a gigantic "You do it too" piece from the right to counter accusations from the left, you and I both know that vulgar, sexist, racist and homophobic rage spews from both sides......but to expect the MSM to put out an opinion piece like this, which is overly dramatic, with just one side and not the other, is dreaming.....I don't think even FOX would do that.....oh.....did I post that already?

I didn't object to it being posted, just to the jab about it not being in the media.....actually most of it, and the crappy stuff the right has done during the elections and from abortion clinic protests and even some Tea Party rallies, have at one time or another shown up in the media, they just don't see the news worthiness in bundling it into a hit piece that serves only to inflame. They leave that to the right wing and left wing blogs.

I did not try and fact check the entire OP, but I saw a person identified as a Denverite. I googled the name and the article in the Denver paper said nothing about her making a racist comment to the black guy.

Then I watched the referenced clip. I thought the black guy was a bit of a pill and one of the supposedly racist comments was a total BS spin. The other racist comment was clearly there.

Per the OP, if this had happened at a Tea Party event, do you think the coverage would be the same?

no problem on the edit.....when you say if "this" had happened at a tea party event.....what are you referring to? I do think the coverage of such incidents is pretty much the same across the media for events such as these......some skew a little to the right, some skew a little to the left.....it all balances out and people tend to believe those media outlets that lean the same way they do and get irritated by those that don't. Such is human nature. Most such incidents are probably not newsworthy unless someone gets hurt.
