CHEYENNE — Wyoming on Wednesday became the fourth state to allow citizens to carry concealed guns without a permit, with Gov. Matt Mead signing a bill into law as several other states considered similar action.
Lets check out the crime stats a year later and see if the streets do run red with blood after this passes. I am guessing not. There were predictions when Colorado passed shall-issue CCW that every auto accident would result in a shoutout and it just hasn't happened.
Thomas Sowell: There are no solutions, just trade-offs.
It's good to see these states recognize the 2nd ammendment rights. I don't want to have to ask permission to excersize my rights- and states that require a "permit" are doing just that.

HOUSE BILL 11-1205 is moving through the State House and it would allow concealed carry by anyone who is legally able to own a firearm. If it passes, it appears Colorado will follow the Alaska and Arizona model, where legal citizens who are legally able to own firearms may carry unrestricted. The “shall issue” permit process would still be in place for those of us who want to carry in states that have CCW reciprocity agreements in place.
Representative Chris Holbert HD 44 is the bill's sponsor.
VT and WY make the 4.
It has already passed the house 40 to 25.
However we have Hickenlooper who is one of the mayors against guns, and now he is gov,nr
doubting he will sign unless he gets some real opposition from the house.

If memory serves me correct - the bill is still alive after several "readings."
Colorado is historically a firearm-friendly state.
