A conflict approaching civil war in Libya. An end-times tsunami in Japan. A Congress that can't reach a budget.
And ... gender inequality?
The topic of President Obama's weekend radio address has raised some eyebrows, as Obama has met mounting crises with the same restraint and cool that characterized his slow-and-steady campaign for president. To some critics, the tone set by the White House in light of recent upheaval may hurt the president's public image.
Amid chaos around the world and on Capitol Hill, Obama's Saturday radio address was devoted to Women's History Month and a call to pass the Paycheck Fairness Act, a proposal meant to address the income gap between men and women. Then, the president went golfing at Andrews Air Force Base.
You are exactly right....I would feel a whole lot better if Obama went on TV and wrung his hands....cried with Boehner a little..... and acted like the world was coming to an end......yep, that would make me feel a whole lot better.
It's not as though the president hasn't been on TV multiple times in the last few days regarding the crisis in Japan....leave it to FOX to mention the only time he talked about something else. Yep....that would be fair and balanced.
Obama just never seems to know what the most important priorities are, kinda like his first year in office and his push for a bad health care bill instead of focusing on jobs. Or wasting time with a stupid beer summit to whitewash his ignorant statement...brilliant.
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

Actually part of being President is being the representative of the American public. Clinton understood this better than most. The Bushes were a little too detached but Reagan was pretty good at representing. Obama just seems a little cool to this part of the presidency and delegates too much.
Thomas Sowell: There are no solutions, just trade-offs.
I'll admit that I haven't followed the news regarding these situations very much. I haven't heard much from Obama in the headlines, which I do try to scan. He should take more of a lead in offering assistance, but maybe he is and it is not grabbing headlines.
Barack does seem like one of those Generals who sits in his bunker and confers with his aides before making a decision rather than leading from the front like Reagan and Patton.

Archer, how can obama cry over something he has no clue about? Obama is clueless and has been since day one... :Crying:
