Lied about what? The dead bodies of Libyans killed by Gadhaffi's goons show up on the news every night, so that's not a lie... (Still waiting for the pictures or proof of the WMD's.....)

How many Americans have died so far in the Libyan action?

How many Americans died for Bush's two unnecessary wars, based on lies and cooked intelligence? Last count was around 4,700....

Sorry... "Obama lied and many died?" You're a liar.

There were about 2,977 victums of 9/11. Most people, left and right, supported the Afghan war at the time due to the fact the Taliban supported al-Qaeda terrorist training camps and gave sanctuary to mass murder terrorists including Osama bin Laden.

While some in Congress may want to rewrite history, the Afghan war was approved 98-0 in the Senate, and 420-1 in the House. And as I recall, it was supported by Obama as well.

Yeah, it's a quagmire. But to call it "unnecessary" seems a streatch on your part. Or at least hindsight.

BTW, the vote for the Iraq War was 77-23 in the Senate, and 296-133 in the House.

And while I'd agree the Bush administration had some shoddy evidence of WMDs in Iraq, most of the Democrats at the time held the same opinion. Clinton heavily relied on the WMD arguement when he bombed Iraq.

So just for the record LJ, do you think Obama's decision to bomb Libya was the right thing to do? And if so, what should the next step be if Ghadaffi stays in power...or, if the rebels turn out to be worse than Ghadafi? Seems like a royal cluster f#@k to me.

No... I'm not "FOR" another war... We already have two unnecessary ones that Bush started still going on. Since this is not a "war", and since the U.S. is acting with the other members of the coalition, as long as we don't put boots on the ground, I think Obama did the right thing by providing intelligence, surveillance and support to the other nations. The point is, no matter what Obama did, you guys would be against it. You're against it because he waited too long; you're against it because he didn't do enough; you're against it because he did too much. As the "professional anti-Obama network", you are doing exactly what we expected you to do.

...Just for the record...

I notice you didn't answer any of my questions... (Duh...) You just go on the attack again...

If we are going to do this, and I don't think we should be getting involved, but, if we are, then we need to do it right. At the moment, its a cluster f$&*. Obama is a poor leader IMO. He should have started this out with a speech from the Oval Office to explain to the American People why we are committing to this, what the objective is, and how we exit. Bush at least attempted this but fell very short.

I'm sorry, did you ask ME a direct question or someone else. I just wanted to know if you were ok with us getting into another war. If you don't consider launching hundreds of missiles into a foriegn country as a war, then we dissagree on what a war actually is. Saying that we must have boots on the ground to be in a war is just a way of defending Obama.

My feeing about the entire ME is that we need to get everyone out NOW. It's not working, we tried and failed because these "tribes" will never be satisfied with a western style democracy. All our military resources need to be brought home and we should consentrate on defense, not offense. Securing our borders and ports would be possible if we were not spread out all over the world.

There are dictators doing bad things to their people in many other countries as well as Libya. Even with the help of lame militarys like the French, we can not help everyone. We need to save our country now. We did what we could to give Iraq a chance and it's time to go, we failed in Afghanistan just like Russia did, it's time to accept that and gtf out.

The left says Bush went to war with Iraq for oil yet we never got any. Now we are at war with another oil rich country and for what? To save the rebels who may or may not be worse than Ghaddafi? How many others will we try to save and will we go broke doing it?

Now what questions do you have for me LJ, I will answer all of them I promise.

Since you are obviously incapable of reading and comprehending what's already on the screen of your computer, I won't bother to re-list what is already obvious.

LJ will not do anything different than ever before because you don't go along with her basic premise that it is all George Bush's fault and nothing Obama ever does can measure up to her hatred of Bush and Cheney.
