Last week FBI Director Robert Mueller finally explained why the bureau cut off all relations with the Council on American-Islamic Relations, a Muslim Brotherhood offshoot the jihad media euphemistically characterizes as "a Muslim civil rights group."
Mueller didn't say much about why the politically correct FBI – which once stooped to allowing CAIR officials to conduct sensitivity training sessions with agents on the appropriate ways to deal with the Muslim community – took the action it did. But he did say his concerns were with the "national leadership," whose ties to terrorism and the promotion of Shariah are beyond dispute since the introduction of stunning evidence in the Holy Land Foundation trial, the largest terrorism-financing court case in history. In that case, CAIR was named as an unindicted co-conspirator to terrorism.
Besides that, more than a dozen officials, board members and employees of CAIR have been charged, indicted or convicted of terrorism related charges.
