Barack Obama ran for president in 2008 based in part on the promise that he would restore America’s standing in the world, and a new Gallup poll released today shows that he has done just that. Respondents in 100 countries were surveying and the United States was the most popular world power at 47%. This is a roughly 14% increase in America’s global standing since the Bush administration.

Do you have any idea of the percentage of those countries that receive aid from us? Or their political leanings, like Socialist States?

We have unemployment at almost 10%, massive debt, half of the States filing lawsuits against the government due to Obamacare, and nobody doing anything about illegal immigration or government waste, but what's really important is .....Gosh-Darnit People Like Us!!!!!!!

What have I spun Witch? I asked a simple question. I am sick of you inferring your bullsh** on everything I post. Go back to your knitting and don't forget to take your meds!!

You and your Socialist and Communist friends are probably happy about this because of your Messiah, but bear in mind he has put your future in the hands of the corrupt f

Anyone surprise that citizens in socialist and communist countries would approve of Obama's performance?

But the article that Neptune posted....left out an important sentence to the Gallup analysis...

Another way to look at the image of a country's leadership is by the percentage of people who would like to move to that country permanently. From year to year, even when global ratings of U.S. leadership were lower, people worldwide who said they would like to leave their country permanently if they had the opportunity most frequently named the U.S. as their desired destination.

Imagine that, despite how they feel about our leadership, they want to come to the greatest country in world. rofllol rofllol rofllol

I am more impressed with Obama's ratings by the people who vote for him..... in the US....and those numbers ain't pretty...

If you didn't post bullsh** I wouldn't have to infer anything.

When you run out of reasonable dialog, you pull out the socialist/communist label.......

Oh.....Obama was never my messiah......I actually don't know anyone who thinks of him that way except conservatives.....

"US leadership" does not equate to "America’s standing in the world". This poll was about Obama's popularity with the world, not the United States popularity with the world. BIG difference.
