The Koran burners should share the blame. Their whole reason for burning the holy book of another religion was to inflame. Mission accomplished! I doubt that the Koran burners could have foreseen that the reaction to their burning would be murder, but nevertheless, they got a reaction.

If they had not burned the holy book, would these people still be alive?

I don't think that is what she said at all I interpreted her post as being "if you poke the rattlesnake, don't be surprised if you get bit" That doesn't let the snake off the hook for causing pain.
