Stupid Humans - can you help us?

EAPL is trying to help empty a shelter that is going to do some renovations on the floor and they need to empty the shelter one way or the other (stupid humans - a floor is worth more than a life???)

Anyway there is a wonderful Rottie male 5 yo, great disposition and very people friendly - he needs a foster home ASAP to move to. Have you ever wanted a big rottie dog? How about a big boy to foster for a while? dogs, cats and children are unknown.

AND then there is Emily she is on the EAPL web site. Emily is a 6 yo Labrador Retriever mix. She recently had hip surgery and she is still healing. She is losing her foster home and she did not do well in the kennel that we tried to board her in. She needs a stay at home family, one that has just her since she is not getting along with other dogs at this time. It could be due to her injury ??? that she is just grumpy with other dogs. She loves loves loves to go swimming, car rides and slow walks right now. She does have separation anxiety and she wants her humans close by. We have been trying thunder shirts and calming medicines but the best medicine for her is her people.
