We have seen a grey cat off and on around our property over the last few days. Is anyone missing their cat?

cat was just here. very excellent hunter. we watched it catch a vole/mouse with ease
grabbed a camera and headed out in hopes of getting picture.

Cat is VERY wary of people and took off as soon as it saw me

Angela,

I just saw the pictures on the other thread but had difficulty logging in. I still think it could be Rocky but looks a bit thinner. He's definitely shy around newer people, but he doesn't talk too much. I'll tell pineinthegrass you spied the mystery cat again this evening and see what he thinks about the pictures. This beauty is sure smart...good at avoiding the live trap.

Gray B (cat's name) is back with owner as of today! I have been working on getting friendly with the kitty and seached past lost/found posts for gray cats on PC and found her owner! I called the owner and she told me her name and I went outside and called her by name and she came right up and I nabbed her and put her in the house until they came to get her this afternoon.
here she was suffering while she waited

I am sorry it wasn't Rocky, Freebird & pineinthegrass.

Just remember, I'm no good at rodent hunting in the back yard.
