...Well we tried something new.
I picked all the green tomatoes and put them in a cardboard box with ripe apples.
It's been a week and the tomatoes are turning red already and staying firm.
If like me you got caught by the first hard frost you might want to try this. But make sure all tomatoes are in good shape and check often to be sure they are not spoiling.
I saved about 20 lbs of nice sized tomatoes.
20lbs to 8 apples
Just enough are coming off to try a few new recipes.
You are supposed to use a paper bag but when do you think to get a PAPER BAG any more. :Whistle
