Garlic

Has anyone grown garlic in containers up here?

When we had a green house we grew it in raised beds but since we don't have a green house I was thinking of trying it in large deep pots on the deck.

I don't see why it wouldn't work. And I don't think the pots would have to be that deep.
I peeked the other day when I watered my plants, and I have garlic peaking thru the straw in the hoop house. 5 different kinds. There is some coming up in every row. I'm just a bit excited since they were a bit neglected for a while.

I thought it would be ok but I want your garlic maybe I will come sneek some tongue:

We had real good luck with ours when we put in in half whiskey barrels on the front deck.. We also had real good luck with cilantro and chives..
