The new Dumb Friends League Harmony Equine Center™ has officially opened its stable doors.





This unique, private rehabilitation and adoption facility—located near Franktown, Colo.—will welcome horses, ponies, donkeys and mules that have been removed from their owners by law enforcement authorities due to charges of animal cruelty or neglect.


At the equine center, these formerly abused and neglected animals will find relief from suffering and an opportunity to be rehabilitated and adopted to new, responsible owners. The Center is not open to the public, and adoptions are by appointment only.
