Large Breed Puppy food

We just picked up a pup that is going to be pretty large. The vet recommeded instead of typical puppy food, to buy a "large breed" puppy food to give additional support for joints, etc.

Has anyone here bought that type of food? Any recommendations?

Too bad future generations aren't here to see all the great things we are spending their $$ on!!

They sell large breed puppy food at Petsmart. (Science Diet I think - big kibbles). They actually have a lot of different brands specific to different types of dogs.
You can also look for a large breed dog food suitable for or all ages. I buy that and mix with the large breed puppy food.

You can get any of that at Busters or Healthy Pet Supply, but I work really close to a Costco and a Petsmart. I love the Costco brand of dogfood and it was rated really high in a comparison of dog food. Scored on ingredients/quality/nutrional value.

What kind of dog did you get?
