Post-Op X-Rays of Marley / Morning Update
The surgeon secured a bone plate to the broken femur to "set" the break. The screws lock into place within the plate and will stay in permanently.
Marley is doing great this morning. Very happy and already bearing some weight on the injured leg when he walks. He inhaled his breakfast in about 10 seconds.
He'll be going home around noon on analgesics and antibiotics. We anticipate he'll be fully healed in 6 to 8 weeks.
