Never Give Up - Photos of Elk Creek Fire getting local kitty

I am reposting this from fb from a Conifer resident. I thought it was worth showing what trouble cats can get into and what we can do to help them once we locate them. I always suggest to LOOK UP when your cat goes missing. I know this from personal experience when we lost one of ours for 3 days and we found him on the 3rd or 4th pass up about 30' in a lodge pole about 1/4 mile in the forest behind our house.

We would like to thank to the Elk Creek Fire department and volunteers for a tremendous effort and success to get our cat down from 50 foot tree. He has been missing for over a week and was stuck in a tree after a coyote was circling our house. Skinny and dehydrated, finally safe and sound. Just thought I'd share what a great community this is!
