At the end of 43 there is a camp ground and you can park your horse trailer. The trail head is right there and it goes all the way to the top of Mount Evans.
There are also trails at Staunton have not been on these yet.
I have a friend who just took her horses to Staunton today for a ride, she said the trails were great!
