As some of you might know, I'm rather plugged into a local microbrewery, and we are producing a steady stream of spent grain (picture beer as "barley juice" and we have what's left over.
It's very nutritious for livestock (except horses) and is spectacular in compost piles, heats them up like gangbusters. Pig ranchers, chicken ranchers, goat ranchers...they all love the stuff because it's good feed, the animals love it, and it cuts down on their feed bill.
