Update 12/14 they're homeLOST 2 Dogs N. Turkey Creek, Maremma and Anatolian

10 Dec 2015 08:37 - 14 Dec 2015 09:01 #1 by RivendaleFarms
Posting for a friend: Bella is a 2 year old white Maremma (looks like a Pyr) and Tamber is an 8 month old light tan Anatolian with some black on her face and tail. They are likely still together. They do not have collars (they get caught in the fences) and are not chipped but are very friendly. They got through a gate on S. High Drive and their alpacas need them back. Jeffco AC, Foothills and Park County have been notified and the owners have been to Foothills looking and will continue to do so. If you have seen them, or think you have seen them, please call Christin and Russ at 303-697-8337. Being large dogs, they could be anywhere by now. They have been missing for 2 days. If you try to get them into a fenced yard, they like lunch meat. ;)
Thank you for your help getting these pups back home!

Thanks for the heads-up RF! Do you happen to have any photos from their people that we can share?

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

Just got the pics and Christin's description:Bella is 2 1/2 year old Marema. Bella is about 150 pounds Tamber is 8 month old Anatolian. She is probably about 75 pounds. Tamber was about 3 months in the picture so is slightly smaller than Bella currently. They both know their names and they both love biscuits. They will both also "sit" for a treat.

Just got word they've been found and are now home. They were 9 miles away as the crow flies and guarding another herd of alpacas. :)
