Join a JeffCo Open Space Ranger for an informative tour around Crown Hill Park with an adoptable dog from Foothills Animal Shelter! This fun, family-friendly event is open to anyone who would like to learn more about Open Space and say hello to a furry friend!

About Crown Hill Park:
229 acres
10.1 miles of trail
Fishing, dog walkers, equestrians
Wildlife Sanctuary (closed until July); an urban oasis with deer, coyotes, and tons of birds to watch
ADA accessible

Sorry! This event is only open to people—we love your dogs, but please leave them home for this event.

Walk with a Ranger is free to attend, and rangers will be hosting multiple walks.

Our mission is to PRESERVE open space & parkland, PROTECT park & natural resources, and PROVIDE healthy nature-based activities.
