Last week, we responded to a structure fire call that turned out to be a chicken coop. Although the structure was a loss, thankfully, all residents within were saved and the nearby home was not harmed. This is not always the case, and this isn't the first chicken coop fire this season in our area. Please keep safety top of mind for your feathered friends, your family, and your neighbors. Here are some tips from the National Fire Protection Association:
