We’re saddened to report that Olivia has crossed the Rainbow Bridge. 
She was spotted and when they tried to grab her, she ran out onto Hwy 285 and was hit. Our deepest condolences to her owners, it’s heartbreaking.

So sorry to see such sad news.....I've stopped cars on 285,when attempting to get the animal to the other side.....BUT that was over 6 years ago when maybe there more AWARE drivers....it seemed
drivers were more willing to pay attention....the elk were always migrating across 285 by the curve at IMHS
and wandcrest OR across the meadow before Loaf and Jug.....people STOPPED and flashed their lights
for on coming traffic....I don't even know if the present mtn.people KNOW what blinking lights mean?
