We finally have a proposal for a new off-leash dog park with hiking trails in Evergreen!
After five long years of FEDP advocacy and research, JeffCo has offered to provide funding to the Evergreen Park & Recreation District (EPRD). This funding can only be used to purchase land and improvements for an off-leash dog park.

The EPRD Board must vote to accept the funding and move forward with plans. It’s time to remind our elected officials at EPRD of the overwhelming support for off-leash open space in Evergreen.
EPRD and FEDP continue to look at land options, but a 36-acre tract near Fillius park and the Xcel substation north of Evergreen Parkway is a leading candidate. This land would provide a hiking experience similar to what we loved in our former park.
