Ernie-Rat Terrier needs forever home - owner assisted living

He is 8 years old, his owner went in to assisted living and Ernie found himself at the shelter. It was noisy and confusing - he was used to a quiet home. While still getting to know Ernie I can tell you he is a laid back dog, likes to be with you, rides well in the car, enjoys playing with other dogs or could easily be content as an only dog, no cats, likes everyone he meets and is searching for his new forever home. Ernie came to his foster home completely housebroken and has now learned the dog door too. He is available through Foothills Animal Shelter and is being fostered in Conifer.
