Are there any fish in Turkey Creek through the canyon? I have seen people going down there, but I have never been.
Thanks!

I thought that was due to the saber toothed prehistoric turkeys the canyon was named for.
The silent majority will be silent no more.

The canyon runs very low and often not at all. I have no idea where they winter over if they are in there. I did a backpack shock survey with DOW a few years ago near Flying J Ranch Open space and we found alot of brookies. No idea where they winter either. Must be in some beaver ponds above and below or some deep undercut banks.
Drop me a PM with map if you see a place where habitat may hold fish and I can see if DOW and/or our budget will go for a presence/absence survey.

Nope - no fish ---- you don't even want to try ----
In fact - the 285 area has no fish at all
You're better off fishing down in the reservoirs in Denver.......

Wherever you go, you need to remember that there's a big difference between "fishing" and "catching".
