Players at all levels are invited to compete at the Bailey Disc Golf Course on September 10th starting at 10AM.
This will be the 1st Annual benefit disc golf tournament with proceeds benefiting Park County Search and Rescue. We hope for a healthy turnout of all levels from Pro’s to families, kids and neighbors just wanting to have a day of fun in our beautiful mountain community. The temporary 20 hole course off of Rosalie Road in Bailey is awesome with elevation changes, woods, and open prairies.
PCSAR relies on fundraising, grants, and volunteers to serve an ever increasing number of people needing help in our backcountry. We never charge for our services, but the cost of vehicles and rescue equipment relies on these type of fundraisers.
Foothills Flyers Disc Golf Club has graciously agreed to help us put on a great tournament. They will have players available to hold a workshop for any first time players who would like to introduce themselves and their whole family to a real fun and inexpensive activity. Kids will hike all day without even realizing how much exercise they’re getting!
For information, costs, and registration contact Dirk Dinse (PCSAR) at 303-816-2361,
or Dave Poniatowski (FFDGC) at 303-944-6663,
.
This course is so much fun. Any want to get a team together and help out PCSAR?
It looks like it's only 25.00/team
I am the worst frisbee golf player, but somehow finished in the top three and won a toss the frisbee in the basket game, the first and only time I played.
Rag horn, do you know if there will be discs available for those that don't have their own?
pacamom;
I don't know the answer to your question,but I'm sure that Dave or Dirk can answer. They are listed in the post above and on the flyer.
PCSAR is really wanting this event to take off and needs your support. You don't have to be a great disc golf player to participate, just show up and have some fun and support a great team. Register early!

That's a great idea paca! How many are on a team?
"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther
The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill
