We block off part of the main channel of Bear Creek by the Lake House on Tuesday at 2:00 PM (we could use some help).
Later that week DOW will stock a whole bunch of catchable and hungry rainbow trout. The area is restricted to public fishing until the 4th and after the cormorants get their fill the kids get the rest. Last year we had kids catching fish off bare hooks. It allows some of the trout Unlimited members to teach kids about fish anatomy, fishing, bug life and safe catch and release although the kids are allowed to keep a couple of het fish they catch.
