Where are some good places to snow shoe for beginners? I'm in Bailey and don't want to travel too far. Thanks :)

There are a lot of trails accessible along Guanella Pass out of Grant. The Colorado Trail on top of Kenosha Pass is also a favorite for a lot of snow shoers. Stop at the winery and I will give you a map with trails. Happy Trails!

Hmm, I'm not a snowshoe-er, but I'd guess that anywhere in the mountains like the Sierras, Rocky Mtns, and Appalachias would be great places for the scenery and better snow!

A quick Google search pulls up these links, perhaps they have some good ideas. Happy shoeing!

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

Guanella Pass.

I used to take my boys up there with their snow shoes.

WATCH OUT for bowls and avalanche-prone areas.
