Springtime brings a huge transformation to Evergreen Lake. The giant block of ice that hosted the giant ice rink detached from the dock, floated away and melted this past weekend - and (despite the snow skirmish this week) Evergreen Lake is officially open for the spring/summer season this Saturday, May 4, 2013.
The community is invited to come picnic, throw a Frisbee, fish, walk, jog, bird-watch, look for the lake muskrat, stargaze and just enjoy Evergreen Lake!
