You're Invited to COFA 2015 ELK Hunt October 15-21 in Ridgway CO

If you’ve ever dreamed about hunting elk in the Colorado Rockies, don’t miss the 2015 Hunt! Imagine listening to a bugling bull in the aspen meadow just below the ridge you’re sitting on. The bull gets closer and closer…this could be the hunt you have always dreamed about! COFA-Christian Outdoor Fellowship of America provides some of the best reasons to go elk hunting. Pristine views, great hunting camp, safe environment for dad’s and their sons and plenty of elk, deer and bear.

bugling 3Each and every year we have hunters who have never been in or hunted the Colorado Rockies. You should see the look in their eyes when the see the area we hunt in! These men along with their sons are in awe of the breath taking views they are seeing. They look like kids opening up their Christmas gifts.

COFA’s goal is to build relationships with those that attend a COFA hunt or any event for that matter. We want to be able to encourage through the COFA hunts building their spiritual walk and building better marriages, building better relations with their children. You may ask, well how do you do that if your hunting all day? The main event is not the hunt but what follows after the day is done. Those who are a part of COFA will lead a nightly devotional geared to certain issues that men deal with. Through the hunt camp devotionals, many have restored their marriages, and broken relationships with friends and family members. COFA’s hunt staff has trained counselors and pastors who are willing to talk with those who are in need of spiritual advice or encouragement.

If you have never hunted elk I encourage you to come. Bring your son, grandson, or even a friend. Many in camp are experienced elk hunters and can help you with the basics of Elk hunting. We are not outfitters or guides, but will share our love of elk hunting with you.

One of our hunters said “This is the best hunt camp I have ever been to. I made some new friends, and enjoyed seeing Godly men working together as a team in camp.” Another said “This is a great camp for my boys to be in, they are seeing Godly men in action”. The purpose of the COFA hunt camps is to build lasting relationships that will carry men into eternity knowing and serving the Lord. We often hear about men who had no relationships with their dads and can see that having a brother in Christ can help them through the journey they are on now.
