Important update for our hikers: The trail to the summit of Lions Head is CLOSED until Aug 1 for the protection of nesting Raptors.
Access to the Lions Head Overlook is still available; however, access beyond the overlook is not permitted.
The closure is federally mandated by the US Fish and Wildlife Service and anyone discovered unlawfully accessing the area is subject to a fine up to $5000 and one (1) year imprisonment.
