Staunton State Park July 2016 Visitor Programs

There's so much fun happening this month at Staunton State Park - we hope you'll visit us! Bring your kids, bring your furry 4-legged hikers (on a leash, please), get some exercise, learn something new about the park, and enjoy the great outdoors! Every Tuesday is a Wildflower Hike at 10am, every Wednesday is Kids Crafts at the Group Picnic Area at 10am, every Thursday is a History Hike to the Cabin District at 10am, and Saturdays and Sundays are special programs - find all the details in the flyers below.

Don't forget for your kids, we have the Junior Rangers Program on July 13, 14, & 15th or August 3, 4, & 5th from 11am-2:30pm. Applications can be picked up at the Park entrance or completed on line at the Staunton State Park web site: www.parks.state.co.us/parks/staunton/Pages/Staunton.aspx . Don't forget, this weekend the Interpreter's Table will be up and running from 10am-3pm both days: Saturday is all about Bountiful Butterflies and Sunday is Bugs, Bugs, Bugs! Come learn more about these creatures integral to nature and enjoy guided hikes looking for them!

Be sure to bring your cameras, the wildflowers are beautiful and the marmots are looking forward to your visit!
