Dear friends,
Last year we invited our community to get some fresh air with us on Black Friday. With the help of Great Outdoors Colorado (GOCO), admission was free to all 42 of Colorado's state parks. Thanks to GOCO we are continuing the tradition, and inviting Coloradans to get out and give thanks. If enjoying fresh air with family and friends is important to you, visit a state park for free this Black Friday.

Oh my goodness! What a crazy, wonderful, busy day Staunton State Park had yesterday - we broke our attendance record with 618 cars! Thank you to ALL of you who came to visit; you were appreciative, cooperative, understanding and most importantly had smiles ear to ear.
Our kudos to the tremendous park staff and volunteers, they totally rock!
Sadly, our marmots missed the fun now that they are hibernating. You'll have to come back next June 24-25th for Marmot Fest so they can join the festivities!
