REI is investing $30,000 in Jefferson County mountain bike trails.
The retailer has joined the Golden Giddyup
trails team — more 150 trail-building volunteers who have spent 2,000 hours rebuilding and maintaining Golden-area bike trails
since the devastating floods of 2013 — to continue the bike trail work at Jefferson County parks. The team has already done extensive work at the county’s Apex, Windy Saddle (Chimney Gulch) and North Table Mountain parks.
