Have you all heard of Furry Scurry? Dumb Friends League makes tens of thousands every year doing a walk around Wash Park. So, IMHS decided to do our own event but it is cooler because it is up here at Staunton and all breeds welcome!

You can sign up to be a hiker or just a contributor at the above link. If you prefer to do it on paper please come to the shelter for the forms.
There is no cost to participate, even if you don't raise any funds, but you do have to pay to get into Staunton if you don't have a parks pass.
We are giving out prizes to those who raise the most money thanks to our sponsors.

8am is checkin, grab coffee and a buy a snack bag
830 Ranger talk about hiking in the wilderness, especially with dogs
9am: prizes and hit the trail!
Stay at long or as little as you like-you've got the whole day!
IMHS will pack up by 2pm. If too hot might leave around noon since we'll have dogs
All proceeds go to IMHS to save dogs and cats and make forever families in our mountain community.
Please help us make this an annual event which is fun, wholesome and beats the heck out of Furry Scurry since we don't have to go down the hill and all breeds are welcome, unlike in Denver.
