Status of South Park Ranger District Campgrounds per USFS Pike & San Isabel was created by Mountain-News-Events

Campgrounds on the South Park Ranger District have been reopening for the weekend. These include:
Lodgepole
Aspen
Jefferson
Weston
Fourmile
Horseshoe
Roads leading to them are still muddy and snowy. campgrounds have been plowed.
Regular seasonal road closures still in place.
Notices for winter conditions and camping on the South Park Ranger District:
Current conditions on the South Park Ranger District: We have heavy snow pack leftover from winter. Very few roads on the District are passable. Heavy snow continues to fall and has been falling off and on most of the week. Camping and road access will be limited.
