BCGC – Free Steel Challenge match August 3rd

Buffalo Creek Gun Club BCGC.US is sponsoring a free Steel Challenge match on August 3rd, 2024. This was originally intended for veterans, but is now open to all. This is a great way to learn about the sport, meet nice people, and enjoy the outdoors.

Steel Challenge (SC) is a pistol shooting competition where participants engage stationary steel
targets at distances less than 20 yards. SC is an enjoyable and straightforward practical shooting sport, ideal for beginners. Unlike other popular shooting sports that emphasize shooting while moving, SC primarily focuses on stationary shooting. This approach makes it a fun and accessible way to develop shooting fundamentals. Once a shooter can safely handle and fire their gun, improved accuracy naturally follows!

Don’t worry about your score, just enjoy and learn. That’s the whole point of this match.

You can shoot any centerfire or rimfire pistol.
