we took the canoe to Jefferson Lake last Monday. Lots of fishermen (women). However, there was only ourselves and a couple of kayaks on the water. We did have to break some ice to get to open water. Grandson caught a few last years stockers on gold spinners, while I couldn't get a bite on any fly I threw. I blame it one the wind. The guys bait fishing seemed to be doing pretty well.
