I've read #s 10, all of 7, and 5, though I know I should've read all of the others by now. I like what it says about each time period, or subject matter, of what was "forbidden" or "unacceptable".
I'm curious: Are there any you've read that you were told not to by parents, teachers, clergy, etc?
"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther
The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill
I have read about half of them, and I can't remember anyone, ever, telling me not to read a book because of it's content. Or maybe I just never asked. Huck Finn and Catcher in the Rye were required reading in high school.

Send the bowdlerized versions to PC and let's keep reality here. Simply stupid rewriting history so it is politically correct. I really do not need to be sheltered and neither does anyone with an IQ over 80.
