Okay, normally I'm a huge fan of Tim Burton, and Johnny Depp works magic with him...but...what the $%#* did they do to this Dark Shadows version? It looks totally cheesy and stupid. I am not happy.
The cast rocks though - Michelle Pfeiffer, Jackie Earle Haley (one of my faves), along with the always-Burton-present, Helena Bonham Carter

I know what 'ya mean......know this dates me, BUT, I used to come home from high school in my senior year (got out at noon) and couldn't wait to watch! I never thot abt getting the DVD's - would be interesting to see if the "original's" are as great as I remember.......
