I love listening to this while driving around on Saturday mornings.

NPR 'Car Talk' duo retiring; reruns to continue
June 8, 2012

Brothers Tom and Ray Magliozzi said Friday they will stop making new episodes of their joke-filled auto advice show at the end of September, 25 years after "Car Talk" began in Boston. Repurposed versions of old shows will stay on National Public Radio indefinitely, however.

The show airs every Saturday morning and is NPR's most popular program.

Tom is 74. That didn't stop Ray, 63, from mocking him. "My brother has always been work-averse," he said. "Now, apparently, even the one hour a week is killing him."

lol

But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

It really is too bad that they are retiring but suppose anyone who came along behind Click and Clack would never measure up to the original. Now I'll have a hole in my podcasts... I'll have to see if I can find something else that provides as much entertainment, it will be a challenge.

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

Corruptissima re publica plurimae leges; When the Republic is at its most corrupt the laws are most numerous. - Publius Cornelius Tacitus

May I suggest some science podcasts? :) (There are some rather humorous geeks out there masquerading as serious scientists!)

Or

The 20 Best Comedy Podcasts if I can't entice you into the science realm...

Of course, they said in the story that they think they've got 8 solid years worth of Car Talk material to re-run and never repeat, so you can hold off for now!
