The Grand Budapest Hotel

The latest from the very stylistic Wes Anderson, a fable of an earlier time of grand mountain resorts. Good and funny on its own right, with a madcap comedy style like the 1930's and 40's Hollywood comedies. The film also made me nostalgic for the old resorts of the Rockies, the great hotels like the Stanley, the style and romance of a forgotten past. Like Glen Isle at its peak.

So Fred, should I pay out the cash to go see this movie in a theater or should I wait for the DVD?

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

You can wait for the DVD. A nice little comedy that rarely benefits from the big screen.
