Better eat before you see this movie because it will make you hungry!
Jon Favreau, Avenger's showrunner, plays a chef who has been forced to cook the usuals instead of exciting new creations from his kitchen. Eventually he is fired after getting into a Twitter war with a big time food blogger about how uninspired the meals are.
So he gets a food truck and starts making the food he wants to.
A couple interesting points, I wonder if Favreau, who used to have indie cred when starting out but now makes superhero pulp, sort of like his chef character. So I am thinking part of his attack on the food critic was also an attack on the critics who pick on his mainstream movies.
And the other funny part from the Avengers connection, Scarlett Johansson/Black Widow & Robert Downey Jr./Iron Man were both in the movie. Favors? Cause I bet "Chef" couldn't afford their normal salaries
