Pretty good movie, especially for computer people who like the history of how it all started and helped to save millions of lives in WWII. Benedict Cumberbatch did a great job in the role as Alan Turing, the mastermind behind the codebreaking computer. Up for eight Acadamy Awards. The movie also is about Alan's homosexuality and how Britain regarded it as s crime. Very sad to see how oppressed they were including chemical castration.

Did Cumberbatch win for this role? I missed the awards.
"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther
The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill
Eddie Remayne won for playing Stephen Hawking, which would be a tough role to play. Cumberbatch made Turing too much like Sherlock, another famous role of his.
