The Best of B.B. King

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill

The thrill is gone. Sadly the man had to stay on tour constantly to pay the bills, even at his age.

We saw him last August at the Botanic Gardens. It was a sad event for us; it was obvious that he was already ill and not up to the performance. While we were glad we got to see him we left early - it was just too sad to witness. I guess from what I've seen that he took seriously ill not too long after that.

All the great ones are passing. :(
