I have not finished it yet but it is an interesting read. Not badly written and I got it as a free kindle download.
It posits that a majority of web comments, article comments, product reviews and vitriol posts from both sides of any divide are phoney from internet identities that are crafted to seem to be real people.
I can think of a few posters whose brand of one note hate could be generated by a simple algorithm.
