I liked it more than I expected. Very eastern mysticism based compared to the usual Marvel super hero epic. Benedict Cumberbatch plays a top shelf surgeon with an ego to match. who due to a horrible accident loses the use of his hands. Unable to be cured with western medicine he travels to the Orient and must learn humility to heal himself. Tilda Swinton does a great job as the leader of the dojo who is fighting to defend Earth from multiple universes. One problem I had with the movie, they give Benedict an American accent, I think it would have been better letting him be English. Too many times in the movie, he sounded more like Hugh Laurie's Dr. House. Distracting.
Much less violent than typical super hero movies and the lead defeats the enemy with his wits rather than his fists. In fact, the goriest part of the film is the surgeries. Three out of five unruly cloaks.
