Got to see this yesterday and wound up pleasantly surprised. It feels like Goodfellas, but in a 24/7 media cycle. Much of the movie is just clips of interviews with the main participants played by actors, and you have to decide if what they are saying is accurate. But I came away with much more respect for Tonya Harding who overcame so much to reach the Olympics. Talk about being born with two strikes against her.
I thought Allison Janey was excellent as a chain smoking Tiger Mama. And Margot Robbie was good as the troubled skater who may or may not have ordered a hit on Nancy Kerrigan. Four out of Five Dove Bars.
