Free Traditional Jazz Concert Friday July 26, 2019 12 PM - 2 PM at the Evergreen Elks Lodge!

The educational Committee of the 20 year old Evergreen Jazz Festival are dedicated to giving high school students two days of intense workshops, where they learn the finer points of traditional Jazz. On Friday they will be performing with the professional jazz musicians.

Our headliner is Carl Sonny Leyland, the world's #1 Boogie Woogie piano player and story teller. He always puts a big smile on your face and has your feet stomping in time with his music.

Following Sonny will be a jam session by the 9 workshop instructors. They are from 9 separate national bands, who will be participating in the 3 day festival. This will be an amazing segment on this free session.

Finally, the best students from the 2 day workshop will perform. You won't believe your ears. These students will perform a truly professional concert.
