This is an older series, about a NYC 24 newsradio station. We recently started rewatching it. I enjoyed the show the first time so many years ago but it looks even better with the subpar sitcoms they have out today. The writing is so intelligent and even when you are watching the action in the foreground, they have little gags going in the background.
Of course the sad part is that one of the actors in the show, Phil Hartman, was killed by his wife when the show was in production. It pretty much destroyed the show and it didn't go on much longer. So if you are looking for an older, well written sitcom, add it to your queue.
