the past with the present in a PERFECT performance. SATISFYING start to summer.
I was really impressed with the filmmakers and Tom Cruise. They really went the extra step and actually filmed the actors in real F-18 cockpits actually flying. This isn't previous movies where they make a mockup of the cockpit and shake it around with a green screen behind it. You actually see the characters getting bashed against the sides of the jets as they fly their tricky courses.
And I think this is a great film to get audiences back to the big screen. Our showing was sold out on the 2nd weekend.
